Boston University
Due to an older version of my website, some of my designs for Rhett the Terrier, the mascot of alma mater, Boston University, caught the attention of the school’s administration. I was commissioned to design graphics for the school’s student section, the Dog Pound, as well as transforming Rhett into a “superhero” for the university’s superhero night.
Friends and Family
I try to exercise my artistic abilities once or twice a year by drawing personalized caricatures of my friends, mentors, etc. These doodles usually end up being my favorite works, though they tend to feature tons of inside jokes. I usually only post these years after I’ve actually given them out, just so I have a collection of JPG versions available somewhere.
Senior Homecoming
Ahh, high school, such interesting memories. Even though our football team stank, that never stopped homecoming from being a good time. This 2001 homecoming button is one of my favorite pieces of design work ever. My friend Roxie and I, as the two people tasked with designing homecoming buttons, were having something of an unofficial competition, and I can safely say I knocked her out of the park. Yes, the button lacks a “theme” per se, but I designed this bad boy at about two in the morning, six hours before it had to go to press. Pressure works wonders, right?
